What is OpenDocument Drawing (ODD)?
An OpenDocument Drawing package containing vector pages, images and drawing objects. ODD is an alternative file suffix; ODG is the standard OpenDocument Drawing extension.
Export uses an OpenDocument Drawing package with the .odd suffix. Some applications require the standard .odg suffix.
Technical details
ODF packaged documents are ZIP archives with XML content and a manifest declaring package parts and media types. [1]
Background and compatibility
OASIS defines ODF as an open office-document family; Writer, Calc, Impress, and Draw cover text, spreadsheets, presentations, and drawings. [1]
