What is TAR.LZO archive?
A TAR archive wrapped in an additional compression stream; extraction requires both stages.
Server conversion requires a compatible engine we host and a verified file variant.
Technical details
A .tar.lzo file is created by compressing a TAR stream with lzop; TAR supplies member headers and 512-byte blocks. [1][2]
Background and compatibility
lzop documents both the tar-to-lzop creation pipeline and the inverse lzop-to-tar extraction pipeline. [1][2]
