What is TZO archive?
A TAR archive wrapped in an additional compression stream; extraction requires both stages.
Server conversion requires a compatible engine we host and a verified file variant.
Technical details
lzop recognizes .tzo as shorthand for .tar.lzo and uses it when the input .tar name would otherwise be truncated. [1]
Background and compatibility
The .tzo stream can be decompressed with lzop before the inner TAR archive is listed or extracted. [1][2]
