Quality, compatibility and file limits
Reflows extracted PDF text. Graphics-only PDFs export as rendered page images when the target supports images, up to 100 pages at a 1600-pixel long edge. Original editable structure is not reconstructed. Text-only targets require readable source text. TCR attempts English OCR when PDF text is unavailable. DRM-free books only. Layout, pagination and typography may change, especially from fixed-layout formats.
Processing uses your device when possible and our servers when required. Browser files are limited to 256 MB each; server conversions to 64 MB; browser spreadsheets to 32 MB. Previews show supported content and do not guarantee identical rendering in every application.
