A raster interchange format used for scanned film and visual-effects image sequences.
Exports contain a flattened raster image. Editing uses 8-bit browser display precision; original layers, metadata, HDR range, and scientific sample values are not retained.
DPX file format guideHow to convert MRW to DPX
- Select MRW files from your device or drag them into the converter.
- Check the DPX output. Open conversion settings if you want to make adjustments.
- Convert, compare the original and result, then download your files.
Quality, compatibility and file limits
Support depends on the camera model and RAW compression. Export creates developed pixels and does not retain the original RAW sensor data. Raster export can flatten layers and reduce color depth; source editing data is not preserved.
Processing uses your device when possible and our servers when required. Browser files are limited to 256 MB each; server conversions to 64 MB; browser spreadsheets to 32 MB. Previews show supported content and do not guarantee identical rendering in every application.
